We are participating in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and will only accept applications through that service.  The ERAS website lists twelve steps which could serve as a guideline throughout your application process. Once we have received your complete application, we will consider all information provided in our review process.

We review residency applications holistically, looking at academic performance, evidence of clinical competency, experiences, and attributes. Some examples of experiences and attributes that we look for in a residency application include dedication to family medicine, commitment to underserved populations, leadership, and a growth mindset. We also consider scholarship.  We work to ensure all factors are weighted proportionately to help us identify applicants who will thrive in our program and develop into compassionate family physicians who are committed to caring for diverse patients and who are future leaders in academic medicine or community practice.

We are participating in the signaling process for this match year. We are following the guidance of the AAMC and the Council of Academic Family Medicine in regards to our approach to signaling. This guidance recommends that applicants signal their most interested programs regardless of whether the program is at their medical school or if they have done an away rotation at the medical school.
