Hobbies/Outside Interests: Travelling (recent trips include Mexico City and Poland), photography, reading crime novels, outdoor activities, trying new restaurants

Favorite things about/to do/to eat in Charlottesville: Exploring the awesome restaurants–I love The Local and Tavola. My favorite ice cream is Moo Thru. I enjoy trying the numerous vineyards and my goal is to hit every one on the Monticello Wine Trail. I also like hiking in the area.

Why did you choose UVA? I truly feel UVA has all the qualities I want in a program and is a perfect fit for me and my career goals. I really value how supportive and collegial the program is amongst the residents, the attendings, and the whole department. The family like feel was one of the aspects that really drew me in. Additionally, I value the wide variety of experiences and patients we get to help take care of; I know I will be extremely well prepared for whatever post graduate plans I decide on.

Anesthesiology Interests: It is too soon to say for sure but possibly cardiac or pain. I am also very interested in global health.

Favorite Rotation: I just started out so I am enjoying learning the basics of anesthesia.
