Office of Research Development
The Office of Research Development at the University of Virginia Comprehensive Cancer Center fosters transdisciplinary collaborations and ensures their success by identifying appropriate funding opportunities, supporting proposal development, providing program management support for funded initiatives and programs, and monitoring progress of discoveries through the Translational Pipeline to early phase clinical trials.
What We Do

Grant Development
We work with teams of investigators to develop and manage multi-investigator and multi-component grant applications.

Translational Pipeline
The Cancer Center Translational Pipeline supports the development and translation of ideas and discoveries into products that can positively impact the lives of patients. It consists of two tracks: Clinical Trial and Commercialization.

Program Management
Administrative management is available for large, funded programs and initiatives to provide program oversight and development, coordinate internal and external partners, and enable research success.
