Welcome!

Dear Applicants,

Thank you for your interest in the UVA Neurology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program!  It is truly an exciting time to train as a neuropsychologist as our field moves to center equity, justice, and inclusion in our training models, service delivery, and advocacy.  In the past few years, we have broadened our traditional didactic offerings to explore ways that social determinants of health and access to care are expressed in behavior and cognition. We have partnered with community organizations to develop intervention strategies and research questions that are relevant to our patient populations.  We have also been enriched by the cultural perspectives that our staff and patients have shared.

Our APPCN member program strives to provide depth and breadth of clinical experiences through a model of supported independence. Over the two years of fellowship, you will have the opportunity to master the core foundational and functional competencies in neuropsychology so that you are fully prepared for independent practice. Our faculty members offer direct mentorship for your education and career development. Additionally, you will have the support of your “fellow fellows” to help you maintain wellness and quality of life in your final formal phase of training.

We appreciate your interest and hope you will consider applying for a position in the upcoming application cycle.  For more information, please visit the remainder of our website or contact our training director M. Agustina Rossetti, PhD, ABPP, at UVANPFELLOWSHIP@uvahealth.org.

On behalf of our faculty, residents, and staff, we look forward to meeting you soon!

Sincerely,

M. Agustina Rossetti, PhD, ABPP, Director of Postdoctoral Training
Shannon E. Reilly, PhD, Assistant Director of Postdoctoral Training; Practicum Director
Carol A. Manning, PhD, ABPP, Memory and Aging Care Clinic Director
Kathleen L. Fuchs, PhD, ABPP
