Hi all! You could call me Soch or Sochima (pronounced Saw-chee’-mah,). I am Nigerian by nurture and many other things by intuition :). Having completed undergraduate education and medical school in North Carolina, I ventured to Dallas TX for surgery internship prior to joining UVA Radiology. I have loved both my experience at UVA Radiology and life in the city of Charlottesville. As a recreational futbol (soccer) player who will likely never retire, I was met with a surprising futbol presence in Charlottesville–thanks to the many UVA turf fields available. Frequent instrument recitals at the Old Cabell Hall organized by the UVA Department of Music and available to UVA staff at affordable ticket prices have been nice bonuses to my weekend experiences. During other free times you will find me thinking of business/invention ideas, trying a groove on my electronic drum set, or learning to be a better acoustic guitarist of which I have a very long way to go.
