Hi, I’m Julia, last name pronounced “Carrier”. I am originally from central Florida but was able to escape to Davidson College, NC where I met my husband Lawton. I studied medicine at UVA where I quickly discovered radiology was the only field for me. After doing a transitional year in Asheville, I am so happy to be returning to the wonderful city of Charlottesville and the amazing department that I have already come to love. In my free time, you can find me playing bar trivia, walking our two cats, and home-brewing IPAs and ciders.
