Hello everyone! I’m Vatsal and I’m coming to UVA from Richmond, VA just down the road. I went to VCU for both undergrad and medical school and decided it was time for a change of pace which brought me to UVA for residency. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Charlottesville plenty of times during undergrad and medical school so I’m already familiar with the charm, great food, endless breweries, and nature that the city and surrounding areas have to offer. I heard great things about the radiology program here from friends that went to UVA School of Medicine and I had a wonderful experience when I interviewed here. The location, the people I met during my interview, and the strength of the program were all reasons I chose to continue my medical training here. I’m thrilled to be at UVA and I’m excited to continue exploring Charlottesville with friends and family!
