Pediatric Infectious Disease
Our division provides inpatient, outpatient and physician-to-physician telephone consultations for:
- Primary infectious diseases such as bacteremia (blood stream infection), pneumonia, meningitis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
- Complicated or prolonged infections
- Infections in high-risk patients (immunocompromised, cancer, neonates, prematurity, surgery, trauma, pulmonary, cardiac or renal disease)
- Infections in travelers, adopted children, and children from high-risk countries
