I am a former medical laboratory scientist turned pathologist and love everything AP/CP! The best thing about UVA is the wonderful group of people–faculty, fellows, residents, managers, technologists, etc.–that I get to work with every day. I spend my non-working hours hanging out with my husband, two kids (ages 2 and 4), and our recently acquired rescue kitten. We love being able to live in the country but still have easy access to work, hiking, amusement parks, cities, and the beach.
